Chimeric Dream

Chimeric Dream is Bill's personal website and blog. Programmed originally in ASP, he is in the process of converting the website to use PHP. The new version uses a templating engine to simplify design updates and also uses much more streamlined code, helping his site to run better and faster. On his site, Bill keeps his personal repository of code snippets, personal photo galleries, gaming information, and whatever else strikes his fancy.

MosherDesign 3.0

MosherDesign serves as Nick's professional design portfolio showing his various designs as well as personal blog. The website pulls content dynamically from a database to make updates simple. The entire design was made with flexibility and simplicity in mind to accommodate a constantly changing world of design.

How Pools Are Built

We built this website using the Snitz 2000 forums as our base code, adding numerous modifications and features to round out the functionality and style of the website. Our work included integrating Google Maps for finding contractors, a rating system, and logo design. We made extensive changes to the underlying code to make it XHTML Strict and we modified the generic style of the base Snitz forums.

Joshua C Magic

Joshua Chaikin is an up and coming magician in the Kansas City area. Having studied and learned from some of the most respected minds in magic, he has used the wisdom given to him to take the audience experience from seeing a few cheap tricks, to an emotional experience: sometimes poignant, sometimes hilarious, but always entertaining.

Eternal Second Designs 1.0

This was the first version of our site here at Eternal Second. The site runs off a database, pulling dynamic content for the portfolio section.

Woodcuts.org

For our first local client, we had the opportunity to work with Karen Matheis. She is an artist living here in Lawrence, and we set her up with a custom image gallery complete with an administration panel and uploading capabilities. In addition, we created a Flash image slideshow that randomly picks four images from her gallery and displays them on the front page of her site.

Kevin Faraci

Kevin Faraci is a musician and actor currently living in New York City. He wanted a site that was a little edgy, so we went with a chrome border with metallic images on the outside.

We created a flash music player that he can add and remove content from using an XML file. His whole site uses a basic template system that allows him to directly edit the code with little effort.

Couch Potato Video

Couch Potato Video is an area video rental store. When they asked us to help them upgrade from a paper schedule to an electronic system, we designed and wrote a full-featured scheduling application that is accessible online. We used their current logo and came up with an eye catching color scheme to match and complement it.

Because the site is for internal use, it is password protected. For that reason, we have made screenshots of the system to give a brief overview of its features.

Luck Design

Jennifer Luck is a theatrical designer currently living in New York. Her site features a fully integrated Content Management System that allows her to change the content of her site to reflect her continuing work. For this site, we created a back-end web application that she can use to upload files, post information on her front page, and continually update her resume.

Higgins Stone & Monument Company

Our first "professional" web site, Higgins Stone was a lot of fun to work on. We were able to learn a lot about ourselves and clients' expectations, and we ended up with a product that we are quite happy with. However, we are no longer affiliated with Higgins Stone, so we have removed the link to their site. Rather than show you content that may not be our original work, we have created screenshots of the Higgins Stone site as it was when we finished it.
